Today in my Gyan Chaupar journey of wisdom, I’ve arrived on Plants.
Plants are not just part of the landscape; they are ancient beings, vessels of memory, and messengers between Earth and sky. Long before we had language, plants were already speaking - in colour, vibration, scent, geometry, and touch.
Their roots travel deep into the soil, connecting to vast underground fungal networks, known to science as the Wood Wide Web. Through these networks, they share nutrients, send warnings, and support one another. Plants live in community. They care. They respond. They remember.
Above the ground, they tune into light, temperature, sound, and perhaps even emotion. Some believe they can sense the subtle shifts in our energy; responding not to our words, but to our presence. While they don’t feel in the way we do, they are sensitive, alive, and deeply attuned to the rhythms of the Earth.
To walk among plants is to walk among teachers.
Each plant holds a frequency - a vibration encoded in its form, pattern, and purpose. Some ground us, some awaken us, others gently heal. When we begin to listen - not with our ears, but with the quiet centre of the heart; we realise they have always been speaking.
Their geometry is sacred. The spiral of a fern, the symmetry of a flower, the fractal unfolding of a leaf—these are not random, but blueprints of divine order. Through them, plants mirror the universal design of life.
They are the alchemists of light, turning the sun’s energy into nourishment, not just for themselves but for the entire web of life.
In times of confusion, sit with a tree. In moments of doubt, tend to a small herb. In grief, let your bare feet meet the soil. Let the plants remind you: you are part of this living system. You are not separate. You are held.
We are not above nature. We are nature remembering itself.
